Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies are, which ones IPO Scouter uses, and how you can control them.

Last updated: 4 October 2026

In short: We use a small number of analytics cookies to understand how readers use the site. If advertising is enabled, ad partners such as Google may also set cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser when you visit. They let the site remember information about your visit, such as whether you have been there before. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in a comparable way. In this policy, we refer to all of them as “cookies”.

2. How we use cookies

IPO Scouter does not need cookies for you to read our articles. We use cookies only to:

  • Measure and improve the site: analytics cookies tell us how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us.
  • Support advertising (where enabled): ad partners may use cookies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad and measure ad performance.
  • Run the website securely: a few technical cookies are set only for site administrators who log in to manage IPO Scouter.

4. Third-party cookies

Analytics and advertising cookies are set by Google, not by IPO Scouter. Google uses the information it collects in line with its own policies. You can learn more on Google’s page about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

5. How to control cookies

You are in control of the cookies stored on your device:

  • Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies. Look for “Privacy” or “Cookies” in the settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or your mobile browser.
  • Analytics opt-out: install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on to stop Google Analytics on all websites.
  • Personalised ads: manage or turn off ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings.

Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading IPO Scouter. Some features on other websites may not work as expected if you block all cookies.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if we add, remove or change the cookies we use. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.

7. Questions
